On August 19th , 2004, Liam Paulsen died of heat exhaustion after being locked in a sweltering mini van, along with his older Jaden, for a period of six to eight hours while his alcoholic mother drank and took pain killers. Jaden Paulsen miraculously survived the day long ordeal by stripping naked and laying on the floor of the vehicle. I had the unfortunate experience of finding the two of them upon my return from work that evening.
This web site was created to honor the memory of Liam Paulsen who was so carelessly and irresponsibly removed from this world.
It is the purpose of this web site to remember Liam as the innocent and energetic little boy that he was and also to prevent his name from becoming a mere footnote in a criminal case proceeding. It is futhermore, designed to be a harsh reminder of the dangers of alcohol and drug addiction.
A great deal of heartache and pain went into the creation of this page. It has been one of the most difficult tasks I have ever had to undertake. It is with great sorrow that I present it to all who wish to see it.
